Manufactured in house, our made to measure roller shutter doors are of the highest quality, as over the last 20 years we have been able to source the best suppliers for our materials. This has created a strongly established manufacturing procedure, which can enable us to install even the largest of shutters within 48 hours of a site survey, with risk and method statements provided and powered access on site. We can even install smaller shutters the same day if required.
Our standard industrial shutters are manufactured from galvanised all-steel sections, ensuring your installation will last the test of time. You also have the option of powder coating your galvanised shutter any standard RAL colour to match the applications’ existing or proposed building materials.

Traditional Roller Shutters
Traditional roller shutters are the most common, made from 3” (75mm) traditional curly lath sections with galvanised side guides or tracks. They are often used in industrial loading bays or shop front applications, and can be supplied in a galvanised or powder coated finish. Our traditional roller shutters are a very practical and simple product, which can be a cost effective solution to most security requirements. However, as they are composed of only single skin material they possess little thermal properties.
Insulated Roller Shutters
Insulated roller shutters are available in a variety of forms, both industrial and domestic. The industrial lath sections for many years have consisted of a simple but effective two-part double skinned section with a polystyrene infill. In this form the insulated lath section has a thermal value of 0.69 W/m2K and an acoustic value of 18dB(A).
More recent manufacturing technology has allowed roller shutter section manufacturers to produce a fantastic foam filled 3” (75mm) industrial strength insulated lath, similar to the smaller domestic markets’ profiles but with the required strength to perform in large scale operations.
The thermal value improvement at 2.4 W/m2K is huge, and at 37% lighter the choice is obvious. Foam filled lath is the same size as the standard traditional lath and can wrap around 4” barrel, making it more compact and aesthetically pleasing. These shutters are galvanised with the option to have them powder coated in any standard RAL colour.
Continental aluminium shutters refer to very discrete, compact, almost window blind appearance roller shutters, best suited to small domestic or office windows and internal office environments. There is more information on these shutters in the “Continental shutter” section.
